Trust & Safety

How we keep this safe

Stay4Skill is built on the belief that trust is not a feature — it is the foundation. Here is how we protect both talent and hosts at every stage.

How matching works

When a host or talent expresses interest in a potential collaboration, the other party does not know until they express interest independently. Only when both sides have signalled interest do we connect them and share contact details.

Both parties signal interest before contact is shared.

This means no cold pitches. No unwanted messages. No one feels put on the spot. A connection only happens when it is genuinely wanted on both sides.

Verified profiles

A profile with the verified badge Verified has been reviewed by our team. Verification means:

  • The profile photo is real and matches the person.
  • At least one social profile or portfolio link has been reviewed.
  • The skills listed are consistent with the work shown.
  • The profile has been manually approved (not just algorithmically processed).

Unverified profiles are still visible and can match — but hosts and talent should review them with the same care they would any new professional contact.

Profile quality standards

We manually review profiles before they appear publicly. Profiles that do not meet our quality standards — incomplete bios, missing photos, or descriptions that are too vague to represent a real skill offer — are not published.

We do this because the quality of every match depends on the quality of every profile. A great chef deserves to be represented properly. A boutique hotel deserves to evaluate real people, not placeholder text.

What happens if something goes wrong

We ask that you:

  1. Contact the other party directly to resolve the issue first.
  2. If unresolved, email us at hello@stay4skill.com with the details.

We take reports of misrepresentation, harassment, or no-shows seriously. Accounts with confirmed bad behaviour are suspended. We are a small team but we investigate every report.

No-show policy

A confirmed exchange is a commitment. If you cannot honour it, you must notify the other party at least 48 hours in advance.

Accounts with two or more confirmed no-shows without prior communication will be reviewed and may be suspended. This applies to both talent and hosts.

Your data

We never share your contact details until a mutual match is confirmed. We never sell your data. For the full picture, read our Privacy Policy.
